Spun off from the laboratory of Professor María José Alonso at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), we leverage our proprietary MPN Technology® platform to advance transformative therapies for cancer and other serious diseases with high unmet medical need.


We are looking for an R&D Laboratory Technician to join our team and support the development and characterization of innovative nanomedicine formulations.


Key Duties

·      Participate in practical laboratory activities, including formulation, characterization, and analytical testing of biologic-based nanomedicines.

·      Perform laboratory experiments and maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring appropriate traceability of activities and results.

·      Organize daily laboratory work in coordination with supervisors and contribute to delivering results according to agreed timelines.

·      Contribute to laboratory maintenance activities, including placing orders, managing stocks, maintaining equipment, cleaning, and keeping sample and reagent databases up to date.

·      Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other laboratory documentation.

·      Contribute to a safe, organized, and collaborative laboratory environment.

·      Perform other laboratory-related duties as required.

Requisitos

Candidate requirements:

Must have:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biology or Biochemistry.

·      Basic to intermediate experience in the analysis and characterization of biomolecules, with exposure to techniques such as Western blot, ELISA, HPLC/UPLC, or LC-MS.

·      Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture techniques.

·      Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

·      Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work proactively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

·      Self-motivation, proactivity, adaptability, and a positive attitude, with a respectful and collaborative approach based on mutual trust and support.

·      Effective communication skills in Spanish and English.

Desirable:

·      Experience with nanoparticle characterization techniques, such as DLS, NTA, TEM, or related methods.

·      Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company

·      Familiarity with biologics, drug delivery, nanomedicine, or related fields.
